Happy New Year!
Now that 2018 has arrived, I started reflecting on this past year. It went by so fast; however I do feel that many things that did happen this year, happened so very long ago.
So with that, I want to share some of my most memorable moments in 2017!

Lisa & Sadiq’s Wedding in Orlando Florida
After what seemed like an eternity, these 2 finally said their vows and were married in front of many of their family & friends. A beautiful ceremony at the Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and a wonderful way to start 2017.

Ending of a relationship
Yes, relationships are supposed to be great, but this one not so much. It was not what I deserve, and it may have taken me a little longer to realize, but once I did, I ran as fast as I could.
Realizing job is crap
The only thing that is left to say is that this place was not where I want to spend the rest of my working days. And the people there were not people I wanted in my life everrr!
Applied & got hired for new job.
Started new job and I loved what it entailed and the experience I have been gaining.
May 3, 2017
I had the whole week off so it was just me spending time with family, friends, and reflecting on how what I really would like to do for the rest of my life. 🙂

Finally bought tickets to California!
After the tickets were purchased, we started saving money and buying things for our amazing trip! We were counting down the days very very anxiously!
August 23 – August 28, 2017
Spent an amazing 4 nights, 5 days in a beautiful city. Hollywood California was amazing. The fact that our hotel was right on Hollywood Boulevard made the experience that much better. I really can’t wait to go back!

Liansy & Victor’s Wedding
I was able to experience another wedding. One of my very good friends married the love of her life. I was so happy to be there!

Mum left to Dominican Republic
This is the first holiday in which I did not spend with my mother; however it was the first holiday in 30 years in which my mother was able to spend it with her family. I do miss her even though I get to speak to her daily, but I am so happy that she was able to experience it this year, and who knows, maybe next year, we’ll all spend it together in Dominican Republic.
December 24 & December 25, 2015
Christmas Eve – Christmas Day
So nothing really big happened to me this Christmas. But this is my 26th Christmas, and I am so ever grateful to be alive, healthy and so very loved by the most important people in my life!

New Years Eve!
The final day of the year. What will happen in 2018? Who really knows the answer to that?
What I do know is that this year I will try to fulfill all of my dreams and I will be as happy as possible. Negative people will not have a space in my life. I am going to try and be selfish this year. Making sure I am as happy as I can be before I try and make anyone else happy.
With that, I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! I hope this upcoming year is just as amazing as you wish it to be!
