Can you believe it?
We are short of finishing the month of December and entering 2018!
With Christmas in only a few days and the new year days after that, I found myself thinking quite a bit, putting some things into perspective.
This has always been my favorite time of year. At first it was obviously because of the gifts I received and after it was because of the spirit that goes around. But, there is one thing that makes me a little sad. I feel that this year has been a bit different for everyone. I don’t feel the holiday spirit going around like it used to. Everyone is so self indulged, and worrisome. I completely understand why. This year has been hard for many people, what with the hurricanes, economy going down, materialistic things becoming more expensive. And while, I agree, because I sometimes get a bit overwhelmed, I do feel that during this time of year all of that should be put on the back burner.
Yes we are almost ending the month of December, but it’s never too late to bring out your holiday spirit. Take one day, and spend it with your loved ones. Watch a movie, go to a coffee shop, enjoy a walk in a park, and love your family and friends.
Tis’ the season to enjoy and start over.
I hope everyone has the happiest of holidays! May all of your wishes come true, and may you end and start the new year with a lot of hope, love, happiness, and health!
